Swedes Want More Tyre Recycling

The results show, among other things, that 94 per cent have a positive attitude towards tyres being recycled and turned into new products.

In collaboration with the polling company Kantar Public, SDAB conducted a survey with the aim of getting a better idea of the general state of knowledge about the tyre recycling value chain, from collection to use.

The survey was conducted via Kantar Public’s nationally representative and randomly recruited online panel, the Sifo panel. A total of 1000 people were interviewed with the Swedish public between the ages of 18 and 79. The results show, among other things, that the majority of participants have a positive attitude towards tyres being recycled and recycled to become new products.
